Occupy Wall Street - Las Vegas

The action was supposed to start at 4:00 p.m., and I got there late because of work, and that made worse by the traffic.  My on the spot reporter said that traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard was stopped completely by the march.  Yeah!  So this is what was left at the New York New York casino where it started.  I was told there still was a crowd out on the Strip somewhere still marching.  I especially like the irony of the Chinese man photographing the photographer photographing the rally.  Tianamen memories?

Bring down Wall Street!  Break up the multi-national corporations!  Occupy Wall Street!  Occupy your heart with love, not fear.

  1. and you taking a photo of 2 other photographers? meta-meta-meta photography!

we must occupy the streets with love, even for the wall street co-conspirators. we must not fall into the trap of hate.

  2. Hah! Yes, a photograph of a photograph of a photograph. Where will it all end? As Che Guevara said, "“Let me say at the risk of seeming ridiculous that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love."

  3. We have a rally at noon tomorrow in downtown Norfolk. some folks from Move-on.org will be there. But for me this has gone beyond a democrat vs republican thing. I think this is a beginning for real change.
